First Officer Opportunities at Brussels Airlines

Brussels Airlines is seeking dedicated and qualified First Officers to join its flight crew. Opportunities are available for both type-rated and non-type-rated pilots.

The recent addition of state-of-the-art Airbus A320neo aircraft to the fleet further supports the reduction of CO2 and noise emissions on medium-haul routes. Brussels Airlines operates cargo services on all flights, commercialised by Lufthansa Cargo, and maintains its aircraft fleet in-house. Founded in 2002, the airline is wholly owned by Deutsche Lufthansa AG.

Potential candidates for the First Officer position are required to meet the following criteria:

Rated and Non-rated First Officer Requirements:

• Possession of a high school diploma.
• Holding a valid EASA ATPL (A) or a CPL (A)/IR with an ATPL frozen license.
• Possession of a valid Multi Engine/IR (A) rating.
• Completion of a Multi Crew Coordination (MCC) course.
• Completion of Advanced UPRT Training according to EASA.FCL.745.A (applicable only to applicants who have not previously obtained any aircraft type rating).
• Demonstrated good oral and written command of the English language (ICAO Level 4 English language proficiency or higher).
• Fluency in either Dutch or French is mandatory. Non-native speakers of French or Dutch must provide a certificate of language proficiency (CEFR minimum B2).
• Holding a current Class 1 Medical Certificate, valid for at least six months from the application date.
• Provision of a certificate of good conduct (bewijs van goed gedrag en zeden/certificat bonne vie et moeurs).
• Submission of the last three pages of the applicant's logbook.
• Submission of a comprehensive CV and a cover letter.

Starting salaries for First Officers with prior experience will be determined based on their flight hours on CS-25 aircraft.
