The Opportunity
Fiji Link is actively recruiting highly skilled and qualified DHC-6 Twin Otter Type Rating Examiners (TREs) to join the airline on a rewarding three-year contract basis.
Requirements for Direct Entry DHC Captain (TRE)
Prospective candidates for the Direct Entry DHC-6 Captain position with a TRE rating must meet the following minimum criteria:
- A minimum of 3,000 hours Total Time in an Airplane.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on the DHC-6 Twin Otter, specifically holding a valid Type Rating Examiner (TRE) rating.
- Possession of a valid full Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with the necessary TRE endorsement.
- The candidate's last flight on the DHC-6 type should ideally have occurred within the past twelve (12) months.
- A current and valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
- English Proficiency Level 5 or above.
- A valid Passport.
Contract Terms and Compensation
This role offers a competitive package based on the following terms:
- Contract Length: 3 years, with the potential for renewal.
- Operating Base: Nadi (NAN), FIJI.
- Remuneration: USD 77,500 per annum.
- Accommodation Allowance: USD 850 per month.
- Note: Single hotel accommodation will be provided for the first two weeks following the pilot’s arrival in Fiji.
- Annual Leave: 28 days per annum.
- Sick Leave: 10 days per annum.
