Technical Pilot - A320
Your Role
The Technical Pilot will report to the Nominated Person Flight Operations (NPFO), and will be responsible for coordination and communication between Flight Operations and Maintenance Departments regarding all technical matters.
You will:

Plan, analyse and manage the technical aspects of the Airbus fleet in coordination with engineering department and aircraft manufacturer.

Review the contents of the AIRBUS Technical Operations Manuals (AIRBUS FCOM, AFM, QRH, OEB, TR, MMEL, CDL, etc.) and, in liaison with the Technical Writer, ensure approved manuals are uploaded timely in Centrik.

Establish Standard Operating Procedures that are appropriate for the technical and modification status of the fleet.

Support investigations of technical problems, incidents, and accidents.

Issue technical information bulletins to the pilots.

Participate in technical recurrent training content.

Supervise regarding distribution and revision service of Flight Manuals.

Once approved by the NPFO, to conduct test flights after an aircraft has undergone defined maintenance, overhaul work, repair as outlined in the aircrafts maintenance programme.

Participate in operational acceptance of newly acquired aircraft and commencement of delivery flights.

Supervise of the FMS Date Base for all aircraft.

Ensure that aircraft are operated in accordance with Air Ops ORO.MLR.105 as applicable, to make available to pilots the AOM under the direction of the NPFO and in coordination with Nominated Person Crew Training.

Establish, in cooperation with the NP Continuing Airworthiness, the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and related documents (CDL, etc.) for each aircraft, and have it approved by the authority.

In cooperation with the EFB Administrator, organise all documentation and information contained in the EFB, which are handed to the pilots and disposed in the cockpit and/or ground stations.

In accordance with the NPFO, properly define and establish the EFB architecture, settings, units, and operational computation.

Continuously monitor Cat II/III status.

Other relevant duties as directed by the NPFO.

Your Profile:
Ideally, you have
,

Valid ATPL(A)
-
Valid A320/IR
-
Valid Medical Class I.
-
A minimum of 5000 hours total flight time, including 2000 hours in Command on an A320 Family aircraft.

Strong technical knowledge (Airbus Fly-By-Wire)

Thorough understanding of SMS
-
Experience in ETOPS and LVO
-
Experience in creating and revising procedures and checklists
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
-
Previous experience as Technical Pilot with an Airbus operator is desirable
-
Instructor/examiner experience on medium/heavy jet aircraft is desirable
