Babcock International seeks a highly skilled and experienced Pilot to join its Mission Critical Services Onshore (BMCSO) team at the Norwich location. The Pilot will play a crucial role in providing world-class helicopter services to air ambulance, police, and offshore sectors, contributing to life-saving and community protection efforts. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive compensation package and benefits.

The Pilot will be based in Norwich and operate the H145 D3 helicopter, undertaking varied and challenging flying across a range of disciplines, including HEMS and NVIS operations. The successful candidate will maintain the highest standards of professional expertise and safety in this demanding role.

Essential Experience:

• Option 1: 1000 hours Pilot in Command of aircraft, including 500 hours Pilot in Command on twin-turbine helicopters.
• Option 2: 1000 hours as Co-Pilot in HEMS operations, including 500 hours as Pilot in Command under supervision and 100 hours Pilot in Command of twin-turbine helicopters.
• 2000 hours minimum total helicopter experience.
• 500 hours operating experience in twin-turbine helicopters in a similar operational environment.
• 20 hours VMC at night as Pilot in Command.
• Experience flying with Night Vision Goggles.

Qualifications:

• Hold a UK ATPL(H) license.
• Fluent in English.
• Possess a valid Driving License, Passport, and Right to Work in the UK.
• Qualified and instrument rated on the EC145.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
