Flying Grading Instructor
Babcock International is seeking a Flying Grading Instructor to support the next generation of Apache, Wildcat, Merlin, or F-35 pilots at either Middle Wallop, Hampshire, or RNAS Yeovilton, Somerset. The Flying Grading Instructor will be directly involved in the candidates' flying grading, utilizing the Babcock Grob 115E Tutor aircraft. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-to-one flying training briefings and flights.
- Complete end-of-course reports and fulfill staff continuation training requirements.
- Actively encourage and maintain a culture of military ethos throughout 6 FTS and the Royal Navy, embracing the Student Care Directives.
- Maintain the highest level of safety and quality.
- Ensure that all communication, documentation, and typed material adheres to the required standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous military flying experience (QFI advantageous) or extensive experience in civilian flying training/examining.
- Hold or have held a CPL with IR (FI preferred).
- Hold an unrestricted UK CAA Class 1 Medical.
- Must be a valid UK passport holder with the ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
