Flying Instructor
Babcock International seeks a qualified and experienced Flying Instructor to join its team at Middle Wallop in Stockbridge, Hampshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive compensation. The Flying Instructor will play a crucial role in supporting candidates aspiring to become Apache/Wildcat pilots through grading on the Babcock Grob 115E Tutor Aircraft. He will contribute to creating a safe and secure world.
Responsibilities:
- Complete end-of-course reports.
- Actively encourage and maintain a culture of military ethos.
- Embrace the Student Care Directives.
- Maintain the highest level of safety and quality.
- Ensure all communication, documentation, and typed material meet the required standards.
- Complete Staff Continuation Training requirements.
Essential Experience:
- Previous military flying experience.
Qualifications:
- CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.
- Hold a Class 1 medical certificate to the satisfaction of MOD requirements.
- Minimum of Commercial Pilots Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (with Aerobatics) and valid Instrument Rating (A) SE SP.
- DTTT V2 (Defence Train the Trainer).
- Completed a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course.
Security Clearance:
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC security clearance.
