Babcock International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Flying Instructor to join their team at Middle Wallop in Stockbridge, Hampshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive compensation of £70,557.84. Role ID: SF61152.
The Qualified Flying Instructor will play a critical role in supporting candidates aspiring to become the next Apache/Wildcat pilots through grading on the Babcock Grob 115E Tutor Aircraft. He will actively encourage and maintain a culture of military ethos and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the 6 FTS operation.
Responsibilities include completing end-of-course reports, maintaining military ethos and embracing Student Care Directives, ensuring high-quality communication and documentation, and fulfilling Staff Continuation Training requirements.
Essential experience includes previous military flying experience with a minimum CFS B1 QFI/QHI category.
Candidates must possess a Class 1 medical certificate compliant with MOD requirements, a minimum of Commercial Pilots Licence, Unrestricted Instructor Rating (with Aerobatics), and a valid Instrument Rating (A) SE SP. A DTTT V2 (Defence train the trainer) qualification and completion of a Flying Supervisors Course/Flight Authorisers Course are also required.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
