Qualified Flying Instructor – Yeovilton, Somerset
Babcock International seeks a highly skilled Qualified Flying Instructor to join its team at the Yeovilton site. This full-time, permanent position offers a competitive salary of £67,031 plus benefits (Role ID: SF58063).
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will deliver exceptional flying training utilizing Grob 115E aircraft within a dynamic operational setting crucial to national defence. Responsibilities encompass:
- Delivering a comprehensive 31-hour flight syllabus covering navigation and aerobatics.
- Conducting pre-flight briefings, assessing weather conditions, and preparing students for flight sessions.
- Supporting students throughout the training program.
- Ensuring the provision of all necessary support activities under the direction of the Site Operations Manager and Flight Commander.
This role requires a 40-hour work week on-site at Yeovilton.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience as a flying instructor.
- UK or JAA CPL(A) SEP, IR and FI (unrestricted) rating.
- Current Class 1 medical certificate.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance.
