Based either in Malé, Maldives (MLE), or operating on a commuting contract, the First Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and premium flight experiences on the A320 family aircraft.

Assist the Captain in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, prioritising guest satisfaction.

Continuously monitor aircraft systems and performance throughout all flight phases.

Contribute to the planning of flight routes, meticulously considering factors such as weather, fuel requirements, and air traffic control directives.

Ensure stringent compliance with all regulatory requirements, including adherence to flight operation manuals, checklists, and procedures mandated by Beond and relevant aviation authorities.

Conduct thorough pre-flight checks and briefings, verifying that all necessary documentation is complete and current.

Aid in the preparation of detailed flight plans, taking into account aircraft performance specifications and prevailing weather conditions.

Maintain clear and effective communication with the Captain and ground personnel to facilitate safe and efficient flight operations.
Qualifications and Requirements

Possession of a valid EASA, ICAO, or FAA Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot Licence with Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) with ATPL theoretical knowledge credits.

A current A320 family type rating, with the last flight date recorded within the preceding three months.

Hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.

Demonstrated ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 (Level 5 preferred).

A minimum of 500 hours total flight time on A320 family aircraft.
