We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Training Developer/Instructor to join our business based in Melbourne, Vic. This is a 1 Year fixed term position with a view to extension.

Your new role:

The Training Developer/Instructor will work in a team environment contributing to training products. You will have the ability to conduct technical writing activities in accordance with the relevant project procedures and work instructions, both autonomously and under some supervision.

This opportunity will see you :

• Design and develop training documentation and ensure that the product meets all requirements
• Conduct training activities for project specific requirements
• Undertake validation of the design including contributing to the integration and validation plans and reports
• Utilise training tools effectively to undertake documentation development and verification
• Undertake training activities within own competence including liaison with customers and suppliers as appropriate
• Managing own training development

About you

As an ideal applicant for this opportunity, you’ll have:

• Certificate IV or a Diploma in Training and Assessment.
• Proven experience in a training position, in a Defence environment and solid understanding of Systems Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).
• Good understanding of modern training tools and systems.
• Maritime/Defence industry (particularly Navy) experience is desirable.
