Minimum Qualifications for Pilot in Command

Prospective Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates are expected to possess a robust aviation background, demonstrating comprehensive flight experience. Preferred applicants will meet or exceed the following minimum flight hour requirements:

  • A minimum of 3,000 hours of total flight time.
  • A minimum of 1,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
  • A minimum of 250 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in the specific aircraft type relevant to the position.
