About the Role

Atlantic Airways, the Faroe Islands' sole scheduled airline, is seeking dedicated individuals to join their cabin crew . This freelance position offers a challenging opportunity based in Billund or Copenhagen. Successful candidates will prioritize passenger safety, act as the airline's public face, and contribute to delivering first-class service. The employment is fixed-term from May 1, 2027, to October 31, 2027.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain medical certification for flight operations, demonstrating good physical and mental health.
• Normal vision (including color vision) and hearing.
• Proficiency in swimming 200 meters.
• Minimum age of 20 years.
• Strong communication skills in Danish and English.
• Absence of visible tattoos.
• Ability to report to the airport within 90 minutes.
• Willingness to adhere to Atlantic Airways' uniform policy.
• A clean criminal record and the ability to pass security awareness courses, including a five-year background check.
• Successful completion of drug and alcohol testing.
• The ability to obtain a health certificate before commencing training courses and to pass these courses to secure employment.

Qualifications

• A high school education and/or experience in the service industry is desirable.
• The ability to plan, organize, and maintain an overview.
• Flexibility to work under pressure when necessary.
• Independence combined with the ability to thrive in close collaboration with others.
• Self-confidence, energy, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• An understanding of the importance of ensuring a safe, punctual, and comfortable journey for customers.
• Knowledge of Faroese is advantageous but not mandatory.
