First Officer Position – Airbus A321 – Taiwan
This exciting opportunity presents a four-year renewable contract for a First Officer to join our esteemed airline based in Taiwan. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, coupled with a commuter program option.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all duties as a First Officer on Airbus A321 aircraft, adhering to all company safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
Flight Experience:
- 2000+ flight hours with 500+ hours on multi-engine, multi-crew jets with a Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) exceeding 20 tons; OR
- 1500+ flight hours with 1000+ hours on multi-engine, multi-crew jets with an MTOW exceeding 20 tons.
- 400+ hours of civil aviation co-pilot experience.
- Minimum 5 years of employment references from the civil aviation industry (for non-Bachelor degree holders).
- Minimum 2 years of employment references from the civil aviation industry (for Bachelor degree holders or higher).
Other Qualifications:
- Language Proficiency: ICAO Level 4 English proficiency or higher.
- Nationality: No restrictions.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid ICAO ATPL, JAA ATPL(A), or FAA ATPL with a Class A or Class One medical certificate. No limitations should be indicated on the license. Type rating is not required.
- Other Requirements: A clean record free of flight incidents, accidents, or criminal history. Successful candidates will need a US visitor visa, hold a C1D visa, or be a US visa-free citizen upon reporting for duty.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual Salary: NT$2,724,000 - NT$2,760,000 (based on 75 hours) + bonus + per diem.
- Monthly Salary (Training Period): NT$157,500 - NT$159,500.
- Monthly Salary (Post-Training): NT$227,000 - NT$230,000.

- Days Off: 8 days off per month (non-commuting contract); commuting contract offers additional days off.
- Annual Leave: Starts at 22 days per year, increasing with seniority to a maximum of 42 days.
- Sick Leave: 30 days per year (paid).
- Bonus: A 13th-month bonus may be paid, based on the average of the previous 12 months' salary.
- Travel Benefits: Privilege travel and concessional travel options.
- Housing: Company accommodation or a housing allowance is provided.
- Other Allowances: Per diem, and a 75% rebate on air cargo.
- Other Benefits: National Health Insurance, accident insurance, and loss of license insurance.
