FAR 121 Captain-Eligible Pilots (Home-Based) - On-Demand Freight Operations

Position Overview

A leading FAR 121 air carrier is seeking highly skilled and dedicated Captain-eligible pilots for home-based positions within its dynamic unscheduled, on-demand freight transportation network. This presents an exceptional opportunity for 4-6 aviation professionals to join a growing team, contributing to critical cargo operations. Successful candidates will play a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient on-demand freight delivery.

Key Qualifications

Prospective Captains must meet stringent Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements and possess a strong operational background. Essential qualifications include:

• An FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with an unrestricted turbojet type rating; a DC9/MD80 type rating is preferred.
• A minimum of 3,000 hours total flight time, with at least 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• Previous experience operating under FAR 121 regulations is highly desirable.
• Possession of a valid FCC Flight Radio Telephone License and a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
• Demonstrated computer literacy is desired.
• Candidates must not have reached their 65th birthday at the time of application.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful candidates will be required to enter into a training agreement, pass comprehensive TSA security and PRIA background checks, and hold a current passport.

Compensation

The average annual salary for these Captain-eligible pilot positions ranges from $80,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
