The First Officer is the second in command and performs the duties as described below, and as directed by the Captain. We are searching for pilots who are committed to our profession and seeking a long-term career at Allegiant. This posting is specifically for transitioning Military Pilots that do not hold an ATP Certificate. Pilot Candidate agrees to repay Allegiant all of the expenses for the ATP CTP course and related travel and housing costs should the candidate not successfully complete the certification process, not commence employment with Allegiant or not remain actively employed with Allegiant for six (6) months.

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

FAA First Class Medical, Commercial Airplane Multiengine Land (AMEL) with instrument privileges
Years of Experience:
Minimum of 750 flights hours (fixed or rotary wing) total documented time. All pilots must verify their flight time by logbooks.
Valid/Unexpired Passport Book Valid/Unexpired Driver's License
Minimum 750 Total Time
Minimum 500 hours in an aircraft categorized as an airplane (SE or ME).
Minimum of 250 hours PIC in an aircraft categorized as an airplane.
Minimum of 200 cross-country time.
Cross-Country PIC Time: 100 airplane flight hours
Night PIC Time: 25 airplane flight hours.
Airplane Multi-Engine Land Time: 50 flight hours ( 25 can be in an FFS MEL).
Minimum of 100 night time hours.
Minimum 75 Instrument flight time.
At least 21 years of age and has not reached age 65.
All pilots must verify their flight time by logbooks.
DD-214 indicating Honorable Discharge or record of current service.
Must be a graduate of Undergraduate Pilot Training. (UPT)
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Current passport book or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the US (multiple reentry status) and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (posses proper working documents).
All required forms of identification presented, i.e., passport, driver’s license, and social security card, must match one another.
The ability to read, write, and speak English in order to receive and understand instructions, directives, and ensure safety, as well as the ability to interact with customers, is a requirement of the job.
