Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 1,500 hours of total documented flight time.
- A minimum of 500 hours of fixed-wing turbine time (airplane and powered lift combined) is required.
- Applicants must hold a current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Possession of an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument – Airplane rating is mandatory.
- All aeronautical experience requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP), Airplane category rating, as set forth in 14 CFR §61.159, must be met.
- Successful completion of the current ATP written examination is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is a fundamental requirement.
- Candidates must possess a valid Driver's License.
- A current passport with unlimited access in and out of the United States is essential. Employees holding non-U.S. passports must also provide any appropriate travel documentation.
- The role demands excellent judgment, strong leadership skills, demonstrated command ability, and maturity.
- A professional demeanor and appearance are expected.
- Willingness to be domiciled in one of the following locations is a prerequisite: Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Anchorage, AK; Portland, OR; or San Francisco, CA.
- Applicants must be a minimum of 23 years of age.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
- Proficiency in communicating in English is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of an FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 500 hours of multi-engine airplane time is preferred.
- Candidates with at least 50 hours of flight time within the last 12 months will be given preference.
- Experience with 500 hours of Turbine Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time is a significant asset.
- Demonstrated turbojet or turboprop experience in a complex flying environment is highly valued.
