Job Overview
Airbus is seeking a qualified Test Pilot to join the Flight and Integration Test Centre in Hamburg. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment, collaborating with expert teams to oversee aircraft development and flight testing. The role involves performing production test flights, customer acceptance flights, maintenance check flights, and corporate jet conversion testing. Please note that a mandatory screening event, including a simulator session and assessment center, is scheduled for the second week of June.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct ground and flight production test activities and customer acceptance flights as Captain or First Officer.

Perform development, research, certification, demonstration, and training flights, commensurate with qualifications.

Execute flight test maneuvers safely and accurately, with the ability to recover from dangerous flight conditions in time-critical scenarios.

Assume responsibility for flight safety and efficiency as Pilot in Command or First Officer.

Lead and participate in detailed briefings and debriefings for all flight and ground test activities.

Prepare and review technical test reports following flight or ground assignments.

Proactively identify and report product safety, certification, and in-service efficiency issues.

Serve as an internal "first customer" to ensure quality and safety prior to entry into service.

Support marketing, sales, and customer support campaigns as designated.

Perform additional administrative duties including crew scheduling, safety management, and flight crew representation.
Essential Requirements

Graduate of a recognized flight test training school.

EASA ATPL (A) license, Class 1 Medical, and Flight Test Rating (Category 1 or Category 2). Note: Candidates with non-EASA qualifications must obtain EASA credentials prior to employment.

Proven experience in a civilian or military flight test organization or department.

Negotiation-level proficiency in English.

Significant command experience on multi-crew transport category aircraft.
Desirable Qualifications

Type Rating on an Airbus aircraft (A320, A330/350, A340, or A380).

Operational experience within an airline environment.

Beginner or intermediate proficiency in German and/or French.
