Aviation Instructor - Ab-Initio Pilot Training
Airbus Flight Academy Europe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Airbus, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Aviation Instructor to deliver ground lessons in English to ab-initio student pilots. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of future aviation professionals within a dynamic and international environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ATPL (Air Transport Pilots Licence) ground lessons in English, covering all relevant theoretical aspects.
- Participate actively in the creation of training materials and resources in English.
- Prepare and organize training materials and documents for student use.
- Develop and adapt training materials to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices.
- Prepare trainees for ATPL examinations, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed.
- Provide guidance and support to students throughout their training journey.
- Implement individualised follow-up strategies to ensure each student's progress is effectively monitored.
- Track student progress and report on any difficulties encountered, offering appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and update key performance indicators related to training outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a Theoretical ATPL is desirable but not mandatory.
- Proven experience in the aviation industry is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years of higher education or equivalent is required, with an engineering degree preferred.
- Experience in teaching and delivering training programs is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is essential, with an expected FCL 055 Level 5 or a minimum TOEIC score of 800.
