About the Role
The Test Pilot will undertake a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of Airbus flight operations based in Vadodara, India. This position involves conducting ground and flight tests on the C295 aircraft, managing flight dispatch processes including flight plans, weather, and NOTAMs, and implementing Airbus DS policies and procedures relevant to local operations. The Test Pilot will serve as a local liaison with the Airbus DS Chief Test Pilot and coordinate extensively with the Final Assembly Line, Flight Line, Airport Authorities, the Indian Air Force, and Air Traffic Authorities. This role also includes local flight scheduling coordination and ensuring overall flight safety and operational standards are maintained. Occasional travel, including a training period in Spain, is required.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, equivalent to EASA Level 5.
- Graduation from a recognized Test Pilot school.
- Qualified Captain experience on the C295 aircraft.
- Expertise in Technical Logbook (TLB) management.
- Competency in configuration control.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
