Job Description
The Cabin Crew member is primarily responsible for the safety and well-being of aircraft passengers and crew. This role necessitates a strong commitment to aviation safety protocols and exemplary customer service standards.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Execution of duties directly related to aircraft and guest safety.
- Ensuring cabin safety and security under the authority of the Pilot in Command, encompassing passenger safety, cabin load security, and galley integrity.
- Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of emergency drills and procedures as detailed in the Safety Emergency Procedures (SEP) Manual, and readiness to implement them during emergencies.
- Reporting any incident that has endangered, or could have endangered, the safety of operations to the Pilot in Command.
- Upholding high standards of professional conduct when identifiable as Company crew.
- Facilitating effective communication between guests and flight crew to deliver optimal comfort and service to customers.
- Adhering to all foreign customs, immigration, and health regulations, and refraining from unauthorized carriage of packages, persons, or items.
- Ensuring proper and secure stowage of all galley equipment, catering supplies, dry stores, and loose equipment.
- Conducting pre-flight routine inspections of the aircraft and its equipment as prescribed by the Operations Manual and Cabin Crew Safety Procedures Manual.
- Briefing passengers thoroughly as required by the Operations Manual and Safety Emergency Procedures (SEP) Manual.
- Verifying the presence of all necessary aircraft documents before departure.
- Meticulously executing appropriate emergency procedures in critical situations as defined by the Operations Manual and Cabin Crew Policy Manual.
- Completing all required reports and records for the Company and relevant authorities.
- Documenting cabin defects in the Cabin Defects Log as necessary.
- Taking all reasonable precautions to ensure the security of galley equipment, bar boxes, catering supplies, dry stores, and aircraft loose equipment.
- Completing all required customs, immigration, and health formalities.
