Cabin Crew Member
The Cabin Crew Member plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of passengers throughout airline operations. This position demands a high level of professionalism, dedication to service excellence, and strict adherence to aviation regulations and company standards.
Minimum Entry Qualifications:
- A Form IV Certificate with four credit passes, including a credit pass in English.
- An Ab-Initio Certificate from a recognized aviation institution or an equivalent qualification, coupled with a Cabin Crew Member certificate issued by the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA).
- Fluency in written and spoken Swahili, English, and French is mandatory.
- The candidate must meet physical requirements, including an arm reach of 212cm while standing and an acceptable Body Mass Index (BMI) level.
- Compliance with all Cabin Crew Member Manual requirements is essential.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of the Cabin Crew Member include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the safety, security, comfort, and welfare of passengers and fellow crew members during cabin operations.
- Ensuring adherence to all policies and regulations to facilitate the timely completion of duties as assigned by the Purser or Senior Cabin Crew Member.
- Providing customers with service that meets or exceeds the airline's in-cabin service procedures and standards.
- Supporting the delivery of world-class passenger service and contributing to achieving on-time performance.
- Acting as a liaison between passengers and the flight crew.
- Managing the proper utilization and handover of in-flight catering items and materials, and ensuring good care of in-flight equipment.
- Ensuring that cabin operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and organizational standards.
- Reporting all flight incidences to the Purser or Senior Cabin Crew Member.
- Accepting and executing changes to planned rosters or duties as required.
- Collaborating with the Purser or Senior Cabin Crew Member to ensure passenger complaints are promptly addressed.
- Overseeing safety, service, and scheduling procedures.
- Collecting passenger feedback regarding service and timing, and reporting findings with recommendations to the Purser or Senior Cabin Crew Member.

This position is offered on a specified contract basis with an attractive remuneration package and fringe benefits in line with the airline's Salary Structure and Incentive Scheme.
