Air India Seeks Experienced Pilots
Air India is seeking qualified candidates to join its esteemed pilot team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong commitment to safety and professionalism, coupled with a demonstrable track record of success in the aviation industry.
Minimum Requirements:
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Experience: Minimum 100 hours of PIC experience in the specified aircraft type.
- Type Rating: A valid type rating for the aircraft in question is mandatory.
- Flight Time Notes: Candidates must hold a valid Instrument Rating (IR) and Pilot's Proficiency Check (PPC), along with a valid Flight Review Training and Operations Line (FRTOL) certificate. Additionally, a valid COP/RTR (Competency Operational Procedures / Recent Training Record) is required.
- License: A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) is essential.
- License Authority: The ATPL must be issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
- Medical Certification: A valid Class 1 medical certificate is a prerequisite.
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level: A minimum ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 is required.
- COVID-19 Vaccination: While not specified as a requirement, candidates are encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Additional Considerations:
- Incident/Accident Free Record: Applicants are required to provide a certificate confirming a clean incident/accident record for the past three years.
- Breath Analyzer and Enforcement Actions: Candidates must provide details regarding breath analyzer tests and any enforcement actions taken against their licenses by the DGCA within the past three years.
- eGCA-id: A valid eGCA-id is mandatory, along with all associated licenses and documents.
