Type-Rated First Officer - Cessna Citation Excel

Responsibilities:

The First Officer will operate the Cessna Citation Excel in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), adhering to the company's Operations Manual and Aircraft Flight Manual. They are expected to be a highly skilled member of the Flight Crew, demonstrating exceptional flying proficiency, interpersonal communication, and sound decision-making abilities. The successful candidate will provide the highest level of customer care, as the company operates within a highly competitive segment of the market where exceptional service and commercial awareness are paramount. They must maintain an impeccable professional appearance at all times. Furthermore, the First Officer must exhibit unwavering high operational standards, a meticulous safety awareness, and exemplary crew resource management skills. Customer service and operational efficiency must be second nature.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Faro, Portugal. The operational focus will primarily be within Europe, while a Worldwide AOC may require operations outside of this area. Worldwide operational experience would, therefore, be considered a significant advantage. Flexibility is essential due to the inherent nature of the company’s operations.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a valid EASA Flight Crew License.
  • Must hold a current Cessna 560 Excel series type rating.
  • A minimum of 750 hours of total flying time is required.
  • Prior experience in Business/Executive/VVIP aviation is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • The candidate must demonstrate consistently high operational standards, a robust safety awareness, and exceptional crew resource management skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong commercial spirit are required.
  • The candidate must be highly organized and motivated.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are a prerequisite.
  • Must hold a valid EASA Class 1 aviation medical certificate.
  • Must have the unrestricted right to live and work within the EU.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Centrik and Leon is considered an advantage.
