Air Borealis, the primary airline provider for Northern and Southern Coastal Labrador, is deeply committed to the communities it serves, the environment, and its people. The airline is seeking dedicated Twin Otter Captains who share this commitment and will contribute to the efficiency of aircraft maintenance, cargo handling, and passenger support. Air Borealis serves 12 destinations within Labrador, including Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Makkovik, Rigolet, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Black Tickle, Cartwright, Charlottetown, Mary’s Harbour, Port Hope Simpson, and St. Lewis. They also provide charter services to various fishing camps, Torngat Mountains National Park, wildlife survey work with Inuit partners, and support the Innu Nation's annual Outpost Program. The airline operates a fleet of 11 Twin Otter aircraft with a crew base located in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.
The ideal candidate must possess a Transport Canada Commercial Licence, a valid Group 1 ME Instrument Rating, a valid Transport Canada Class 1 Medical, 2500 hours total time, 1000 hours multi-engine time, and 1000 hours Pilot-in-Command time or 2000 hours on a similar aircraft type. The candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), and meet the Transport Canada English proficiency standard (level 4). Preference will be given to candidates holding a valid ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot License).
