Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia is seeking a dedicated and professional Cabin Crew Member to act as an ambassador for the airline. The successful candidate will strive to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He or she will provide excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies safety and security risks, partnering with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides consistent and excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following policies and procedures detailed in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items are available prior to takeoff. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to adopted policies and procedures, providing objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies.
- Reports on the conduct of passengers. Performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current licensure.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is advantageous.
- Fit to fly, with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as cabin crew in an airline is required.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
