Cabin Crew
An Air Arabia Cabin Crew member acts as an ambassador for the airline, striving to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. This individual provides exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, while maintaining readiness and fitness to operate in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies and addresses safety and security risks in partnership with the Cabin Supervisor, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Administers first aid when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering data into the aircraft logbook per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides excellent and consistent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions. Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets. Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and carries out the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain. Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent and emergency procedures trainings and educational workshops, ensuring current licensure. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related tasks and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to Age and Height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as cabin crew with an airline is essential.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
