Cabin Crew Member
An ambassador for Air Arabia, the Cabin Crew Member strives to cultivate customer loyalty and uphold a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. This role demands the provision of excellent customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the flight. The Cabin Crew Member must maintain readiness and fitness to operate, consistently meeting productivity measures in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role distribution, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety protocols, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifying and reporting potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when required.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities, accurately entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Contributing to revenue maximization through the effective promotion of onboard meals, products, and the "Charity Cloud" program, achieving individual and team sales targets.
- Ensuring the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for sales and donations.
- Performing pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified items, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
- Assisting in maintaining a thoroughly cleaned aircraft cabin at transit stations and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free product replenishment.
- Ensuring orderly handovers to and from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per established policies, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any flight-related issues or duty-free container discrepancies.
- Reporting on passenger conduct and assuming the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining current professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedure drills, and educational workshops, while also ensuring license validity.
- Contributing to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportional to age and height.
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is desirable.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as cabin crew in the airline industry is essential.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
