Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cabin Crew Members to act as ambassadors, fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall passenger experience. The Cabin Crew Member provides exceptional customer service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate will be prepared and fit to operate, maintaining productivity in accordance with established measures, company policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Greets passengers and assists with boarding formalities; accurately enters necessary data into the aircraft log book, adhering to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Provides exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before takeoff; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flight.
- Ensures the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures; provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reports any flight problems or discrepancies, including closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor; assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, and by maintaining a current license.
- Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health; free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as cabin crew in the airline industry is essential.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
