Cabin Crew
An ambassador for Air Arabia, the Cabin Crew member strives to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The ideal candidate is ready and fit to operate, ensuring productivity aligns with established metrics and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security protocols.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Identifying and reporting safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, taking corrective action according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding procedures.
- Entering required data into the aircraft log book in accordance with Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivering consistently excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to relevant policies and procedures in the Operations Manual.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment; reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flights.
- Ensuring the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports as per established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies.
- Accounting to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct, and carrying out the duties of "Cabin Supervisor" when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, and by ensuring current licensure.
- Contributing to team efforts by achieving related results and allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin, free of visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as a cabin crew member is required.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
