Cabin Crew
An ambassador for Air Arabia, the Cabin Crew member strives to cultivate customer loyalty and enhance the overall passenger experience, thereby promoting a positive corporate image. He/She provides excellent customer service while ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, targets, and security/boarding procedures.
- Instructs passengers on safety protocols, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft logbook as per Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures.
- Delivers exceptional customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and supports passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and promotes the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively marketing on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and managed donations.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items before takeoff, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before flying.
- Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, including closing and sealing duty-free containers.
- Reports on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and performs the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring current licensure.
- Contributes to team success by achieving related results and allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is preferred.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is a plus.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Previous experience as cabin crew in the airline industry is required.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
