Air Arabia is conducting a recruitment drive in Cyprus and is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its Cabin Crew team. The Cabin Crew member provides excellent customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle while maintaining productivity in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality for assigned flights, attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security protocols.
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Identifies safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action.
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities.
- Provides excellent customer service by attending to individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties.
- Maximizes on-board revenue and promotes the "Charity Cloud" program by selling on-board meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies and equipment, reporting deficiencies.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned and re-catered at transit stations.
- Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Carries out post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations and reporting any problems or discrepancies.
- Reports on passenger conduct and assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportional to Age and Height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/Physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in Written and Spoken English.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
