Air Arabia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join its cabin crew team. As an ambassador for the airline, the Cabin Crew member strives to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by consistently enhancing the passenger experience. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle, and maintaining operational readiness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and compliance for assigned flights. This includes attending briefings to acknowledge flight details, role assignments, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Instructing passengers on safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort.
- Identifying and reporting potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Promptly informing the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Welcoming passengers and assisting with boarding formalities. Recording required data in the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA guidelines.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifying and assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant instructions.
- Contributing to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team targets.
- Ensuring secure handling of cash and credit card payments for individual sales and donations.
- Conducting pre-flight checks to verify sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering, and other essential items. Reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean aircraft cabin during transit stops and ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available.
- Ensuring a smooth handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefings and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures. This includes objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies, and ensuring duty-free containers are properly closed and sealed.
- Reporting on passenger conduct to the Cabin Supervisor and assuming the duties of ‘Cabin Supervisor’ when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining current professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness through recurrent trainings, emergency procedures drills, educational workshops, and ensuring a valid license.
- Contributing to team success by achieving related results and fulfilling allocated sales targets and objectives.
Requirements:
- Age: 20 to 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically and physically fit to perform cabin crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus)
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures (an advantage)
- Fit to fly with good general health and no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation/Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
- Active cabin crew license (an advantage)
- Capable of working in shifts and for extended hours.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
