Cabin Crew Opportunity - Albania Recruitment Drive

Role Overview

The Cabin Crew member serves as an esteemed ambassador for Air Arabia, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight cycle. The Cabin Crew member maintains readiness and fitness for duty, operating in strict adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure optimal productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Preparedness:

    Ensures personal readiness for assigned flights through timely attendance, adherence to grooming standards, maintenance of fitness, and verification of legal documentation. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to confirm understanding of flight details, role distribution, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.

  • Safety and Security:

    Instructs passengers effectively on all required safety procedures, prioritizing their safety and comfort at all times. Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provides necessary first aid to passengers as required. Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.

  • Customer Experience:

    Warmsly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately entering required data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and regulatory (GCAA/CAA) procedures. Delivers consistent, excellent customer service by attending to passengers' pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs. Identifies and provides support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established procedures in the Operations Manual and relevant instructions. Actively contributes to maximising on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program through effective promotion of on-board meals, products, and charity services, thereby achieving individual and team sales targets. Manages cash and credit card payments received from individual sales and donations with complete accuracy and security.

  • Checks and Reporting:

    Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to verify the availability of sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment before departure. Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate. Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is meticulously cleaned during transit stops and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are loaded before subsequent flights. Manages the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel. Participates in post-flight briefings and completes assessment reports according to established policies and procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reporting flight issues or discrepancies, and overseeing the closing and sealing of duty-free containers. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and is prepared to undertake the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Continuously enhances professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent training, emergency procedures training, and educational workshops, ensuring all licenses remain current. Contributes actively to team objectives, including the achievement of allocated sales targets.

Candidate Profile

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm for females, minimum 168 cm for males.
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Appearance: Clear skin free from visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Health & Fitness: Medically and physically fit to perform all aspects of Cabin Crew duties. Must possess the ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device. Must be fit to fly, demonstrating good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required. A diploma in Travel/Tourism is considered advantageous.
  • Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines/Aviation or Hospitality Industries is considered an added value. An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Attributes: Capable of working effectively in a shift pattern and for extended working hours. Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and busy schedules. Proven ability to contribute to team goals and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
