Air Arabia Cabin Crew Position

Job Purpose
The Cabin Crew member acts as Air Arabia's ambassador, striving to achieve customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image. The role involves delivering exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the complete flight cycle. The successful candidate must be ready and capable of operating effectively, ensuring productivity is in line with established measures and company policies and procedures.
Key Result Responsibilities
Conduct:
- Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights.
- Attends pre-flight briefings to acknowledge flight details, understand assigned roles, targets, security checks, boarding procedures, and other relevant information.
Safety Measures:
- Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Identifies potential safety and security risks and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement remedial action in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers when necessary.
- Reports any irregularities or malfunctions promptly to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.
Customer Service:
- Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering necessary data into the aircraft log book according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA adopted procedures.
- Provides consistently excellent customer service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with relevant policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other instructions.
- Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by efficiently promoting on-board meals, products, and charity services, striving to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensures proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received for individual sales and donations.
Crosschecking and Reporting:
- Conducts pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified equipment before take-off; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided before departure.
- Ensures orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports in accordance with adopted policies and procedures; provides objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor, reports any flight problems or discrepancies, and closes and seals duty-free containers.
- Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct; assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, educational workshops, and ensuring a current license.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements
- Age: Between 20 and 33 years
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 168 cm (Male)
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform
- Medically/physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties
- Ability to swim with the aid of a flotation device
Qualifications
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is acceptable; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is a plus.
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an added value.
- Fit to fly, with good general health, no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Language: Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
Work Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation/ or hospitality industries is an added value.
- An active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in a shift pattern and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
