Cabin Crew - Bosnia Recruitment Drive

Job Purpose

The Cabin Crew member serves as a key ambassador, dedicated to fostering customer loyalty and enhancing the corporate image through exceptional service. This role is paramount in delivering outstanding customer service while prioritizing passenger safety and comfort throughout the entire flight experience. The Cabin Crew member is expected to be punctual, well-presented, and prepared for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct:

  • Ensures punctuality, impeccable grooming, fitness for duty, and adherence to legal requirements for assigned flights.
  • Attends pre-flight briefings to confirm flight details, understand role assignments, targets, and procedures related to security checks, boarding, and other operational aspects.

Safety Measures:

  • Provides clear instructions to passengers on safety procedures, maintaining their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers first aid to passengers as necessary.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain as appropriate.

Customer Service:

  • Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding procedures.
  • Enters necessary data into the aircraft log book according to adopted procedures.
  • Delivers consistently excellent customer service, attending to individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
  • Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with documented policies and procedures.
  • Actively contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting the "Charity Cloud" program by promoting meals, products, and charity services to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Ensures accurate and secure handling of cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.

Operational Checks & Reporting:

  • Conducts pre-flight checks to verify adequate supplies, emergency equipment, catering items, and other specified equipment before departure.
  • Reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  • Assists in ensuring the aircraft cabin is thoroughly cleaned at transit stations and that sufficient catering and duty-free products are restocked before subsequent flights.
  • Ensures an orderly and complete handover or takeover of the cabin environment from or to catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff.
  • Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per adopted policies and procedures, providing objective feedback, reporting flight issues or discrepancies, and managing the closing and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and is prepared to perform the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains professional and safety knowledge by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and ensuring licenses are current.
  • Contributes to team goals by achieving assigned sales targets and objectives.

Essential Requirements

  • Age: Between 20 and 33 years.
  • Minimum Height: 160 cm for female candidates, 168 cm for male candidates.
  • Weight: Must be in proportion to age and height.
  • Skin: Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos when wearing the cabin crew uniform.
  • Health: Medically and physically fit to perform demanding Cabin Crew duties.
  • Swimming Ability: Capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: A Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous.
  • Training: Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is considered an added value.
  • Health: Must be fit to fly, possess good general health, and have no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Language: Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.

Work Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is an added value.
  • Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Must be capable of working variable shift patterns and potentially extended hours.
  • Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent operational changes and busy schedules.
  • Exhibits the ability to contribute effectively and meet performance targets aligned with policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
