Air Arabia Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia seeks a highly motivated and professional Cabin Crew Member to embody the airline's brand and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety standards. The successful candidate will act as an Air Arabia ambassador, fostering customer loyalty and projecting a positive corporate image throughout the entire flight cycle. This role demands a commitment to productivity, adherence to company policies and procedures, and the ability to maintain composure in diverse and sometimes challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct & Preparedness:
The Cabin Crew Member will ensure punctual attendance, impeccable grooming, and adherence to all regulatory requirements. Pre-flight briefings will be attended to ensure a complete understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
Safety & Security:
- Providing clear and comprehensive passenger safety instructions.
- Proactively identifying and reporting safety and security risks to the Cabin Supervisor, implementing remedial actions per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administering first aid as needed.
- Promptly reporting any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Warmly welcoming passengers and facilitating boarding procedures, accurately logging relevant data according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA regulations.
- Providing consistently exceptional customer service, addressing passenger requests and needs proactively.
- Assisting passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Contributing to onboard revenue generation and the "Charity Cloud" program through the efficient promotion of onboard meals, products, and charity services, meeting individual and team targets.
- Accurately handling cash and credit card payments for sales and donations.
Cross-Checking, Reporting & Collaboration:
- Conducting pre-flight checks to ensure adequate supplies, equipment, and catering, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and well-stocked cabin during transit, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products.
- Facilitating orderly handovers/takeovers with catering, cleaning, and maintenance staff.
- Completing post-flight briefing and assessment reports according to established policies and procedures; providing objective evaluations, reporting any issues, and securing duty-free containers.
- Providing accounts to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and fulfilling the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintaining professional development through recurrent training, emergency procedure training, educational workshops, and license renewal.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and achieving sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years (inexperienced candidates); up to 33 years (experienced candidates).
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportional to age and height.
- Clear skin, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform.
- Excellent physical and medical fitness for cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism preferred).
- First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures training (advantageous).
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Arabic (preferred).
- Prior experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role within the airline, aviation, or hospitality industries (advantageous).
- Active cabin crew license (advantageous).
- Ability to work shifts and extended hours.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Proven ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
