Overview

A Cabin Crew member serves as a vital ambassador for the airline, dedicated to cultivating customer loyalty and promoting a positive corporate image through the delivery of an exceptional passenger experience. This role is fundamental in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of all passengers throughout the entire flight journey. The Cabin Crew is expected to maintain operational readiness and fitness, adhering strictly to company policies, procedures, and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures punctuality, maintains immaculate grooming standards, and confirms personal fitness and compliance readiness for all assigned flights.
  • Actively participates in pre-flight briefings to review flight details, role assignments, sales targets, security checks, and boarding procedures.
  • Provides clear and comprehensive instructions to passengers regarding safety procedures, prioritizing their security and comfort at all times.
  • Identifies potential safety and security risks within the cabin environment and collaborates with the Cabin Supervisor to implement necessary remedial actions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Administers essential first aid to passengers as required during the flight.
  • Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions observed to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, or Captain.
  • Extends a warm welcome to passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately documenting required information in the aircraft log book according to airline and regulatory (GCAA/CAA) procedures.
  • Delivers consistently high standards of customer service, proactively addressing passenger pre-bookings, requests, and individual needs.
  • Identifies and provides appropriate support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following established operational guidelines.
  • Contributes to maximizing on-board revenue and supporting charitable initiatives (such as "Charity Cloud") through the effective promotion and sale of catering items, products, and donation opportunities, working towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
  • Handles cash and credit card payments received from sales and donations securely and accurately.
  • Conducts thorough pre-flight checks of cabin supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other specified equipment, reporting any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain.
  • Assists in overseeing the proper cleaning and preparation of the aircraft cabin during transit stops and verifies that adequate re-catering and duty-free stock are provided before departure.
  • Manages the orderly handover and takeover process of the cabin with catering, cleaning, and maintenance personnel.
  • Participates in post-flight briefings and completes required assessment reports, which may include providing an objective evaluation of the Cabin Supervisor, detailing flight issues or discrepancies, and managing the closure and sealing of duty-free containers.
  • Monitors and accounts for passenger conduct throughout the flight duration and is capable of assuming the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
  • Maintains necessary professional knowledge, safety proficiency, and licensing through regular attendance at recurrent training, emergency procedures courses, and relevant educational workshops.
  • Contributes actively to team objectives, successfully achieving allocated sales targets and other related results.

Requirements

  • Age must be between 20 and 30 years for candidates without prior Cabin Crew experience. Candidates with previous experience may be up to 33 years old.
  • Minimum height requirement is 160 cm for female candidates and 170 cm for male candidates.
  • Weight should be in proportion to age and height.
  • Skin must be clear, without visible marks or tattoos when wearing the standard cabin crew uniform.
  • Must be certified as medically and physically fit to perform all Cabin Crew duties.
  • Capable of swimming with the aid of a flotation device.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate is required; a diploma in Travel or Tourism is considered an advantage.
  • Training certifications in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are beneficial.
  • Must be fit to fly, maintaining good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

Work Experience

  • Applications from fresh graduates are encouraged.
  • Previous experience as Cabin Crew or in a customer service role within the Airlines, Aviation, or Hospitality industries is considered an asset.
  • Holding an active cabin crew license is an advantage.
  • Demonstrates the capability to work effectively in variable shift patterns, including extended working hours.
  • Exhibits high levels of flexibility and adaptability in response to frequent changes in schedules and demanding operational environments.
  • Proven ability to contribute positively and successfully deliver against established policies, procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
