Cabin Crew Member - Air Arabia
Air Arabia seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Cabin Crew Member to act as an ambassador for the airline. The ideal candidate strives to cultivate customer loyalty and promote a positive corporate image by enhancing the overall customer experience. He/She provides exceptional customer service to all passengers while ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the entire flight cycle. He/She maintains readiness and fitness for duty, ensuring productivity aligns with established measures and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct: Ensures timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legal compliance for assigned flights. Attends briefings to acknowledge flight details, roles, targets, and security procedures.
- Safety Measures: Instructs passengers on safety procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Identifies safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor for remedial action. Administers first aid when necessary. Promptly informs the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain of any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Customer Service: Welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, entering required data into the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA procedures. Provides consistent, excellent customer service, addressing individual pre-bookings, requests, and needs. Identifies and assists passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, following relevant policies and procedures. Contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively promoting onboard meals, products, and charity services, achieving individual and team targets. Ensures the proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received.
- Crosschecking and Reports: Performs pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, and catering equipment, reporting deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor or Captain. Assists in maintaining a clean aircraft cabin at transit stations, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided. Ensures orderly handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff. Completes post-flight briefings and assessment reports as per established procedures, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor and reporting any flight problems or discrepancies. Accounts to the Cabin Supervisor for passenger conduct and assumes the duties of 'Cabin Supervisor' when designated by the Captain. Maintains necessary professional and safety knowledge and competitiveness by attending recurrent training, emergency procedure training, and educational workshops, and ensuring current license. Contributes to team success by accomplishing related results and achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Important Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years (without previous cabin crew experience), up to 33 years (experienced cabin crew).
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportional to age and height.
- Clear skin with no visible marks or tattoos while wearing the cabin crew uniform.
- Medically and physically fit to perform Cabin Crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (Diploma in Travel/Tourism preferred).
- Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures is an advantage.
- Fit to fly with good general health; free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
Work Experience:
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience as cabin crew or in a customer service role in the Airlines/Aviation or hospitality industries is an advantage.
- Active cabin crew license is an advantage.
- Capable of working in shift patterns and for extended working hours.
- Demonstrates high flexibility and adaptability to frequent changes and busy schedules.
- Demonstrates the ability to contribute and successfully deliver against policies, procedures, and set KPIs.
