Air Arabia Cabin Crew Member
Air Arabia seeks a highly motivated and professional individual to join its cabin crew team. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for the airline, consistently striving to cultivate customer loyalty and foster a positive corporate image by providing exceptional service and ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct & Safety:
- Ensures punctual attendance, maintains impeccable grooming, and confirms personal fitness and legal compliance for all assigned flights. Actively participates in pre-flight briefings, demonstrating understanding of flight details, assigned roles, targets, security protocols, and boarding procedures.
- Provides clear and concise safety instructions to passengers, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times.
- Proactively identifies potential safety and security risks, collaborating with the Cabin Supervisor to implement corrective actions in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Administers first aid to passengers as needed.
- Promptly reports any irregularities or malfunctions to the Cabin Supervisor, Flight Crew, and Captain, as appropriate.
Customer Service & Revenue Generation:
- Warmly welcomes passengers and assists with boarding formalities, accurately documenting relevant information in the aircraft logbook according to Air Arabia and GCAA/CAA regulations.
- Consistently delivers exceptional customer service, addressing individual passenger pre-bookings, requests, and needs.
- Provides support to passengers experiencing stress or difficulties, adhering to established policies and procedures outlined in the Operations Manual and other relevant directives.
- Actively contributes to maximizing onboard revenue and promoting the "Charity Cloud" program by effectively marketing onboard meals, products, and charitable services, achieving individual and team targets.
- Handles cash and credit card payments securely and accurately, maintaining meticulous records of all sales and donations.
Cross-checking, Reporting, and Professional Development:
- Conducts thorough pre-flight checks to ensure sufficient supplies, emergency equipment, catering provisions, and other necessary materials are available; reports any deficiencies to the Cabin Supervisor and/or Captain as appropriate.
- Assists in maintaining a clean and well-stocked cabin at transit stations, ensuring adequate re-catering and duty-free products are available before departure.
- Ensures a smooth and efficient handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, and/or maintenance personnel.
- Completes post-flight briefing and assessment reports, providing objective evaluations of the Cabin Supervisor's performance, documenting any flight-related issues or discrepancies, and securing duty-free containers.
- Provides regular updates to the Cabin Supervisor regarding passenger conduct and assumes the duties of Cabin Supervisor when designated by the Captain.
- Maintains current professional and safety certifications by participating in recurrent training, emergency procedures training, educational workshops, and license renewals.
- Contributes to the team's overall success by achieving allocated sales targets and objectives.
Essential Requirements:
- Age: 20-30 years (inexperienced candidates); up to 33 years (experienced cabin crew).
- Minimum Height: 160 cm (Female), 170 cm (Male).
- Weight: Proportionate to age and height.
- Clear complexion, free from visible marks or tattoos while wearing the uniform.
- Excellent physical and medical fitness for cabin crew duties.
- Ability to swim with a flotation device.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate (a diploma in Travel/Tourism is advantageous).
- First Aid, safety, and emergency procedure training (highly desirable).
- Excellent health, free from serious medical conditions or chronic diseases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in written and spoken English (Arabic fluency is preferred).
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Prior experience as cabin crew or in customer service within the aviation/hospitality industries is a significant advantage. An active cabin crew license is highly beneficial. The ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours is essential, demonstrating adaptability and resilience within a demanding and fast-paced environment. A proven ability to effectively contribute to and achieve company policies, procedures, and KPIs is required.
