About Air Arabia

As a pioneer in the low-cost aviation sector within the MENA region, Air Arabia is dedicated to expanding global connectivity, serving new markets, and continuously enhancing operational efficiency and innovation. The airline operates a modern and growing fleet, which included 83 owned and leased Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft by the first half of 2025. An additional 120 new aircraft are on order, with deliveries expected to commence by the end of 2025. Air Arabia has also significantly expanded its network, launching 13 new routes across its strategic operating hubs in the UAE, Morocco, Egypt, and Pakistan.

Further demonstrating its commitment to growth and regional development, Air Arabia is a proud consortium member that successfully secured the General Authority of Civil Aviation’s (GACA) competition to establish and operate a new national low-cost airline. This new carrier, which aims to begin operations in early 2026, will be based at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enhancing domestic and international air connectivity for the Eastern Province.

The Opportunity: Captains and First Officers (A320 Fleet)

Air Arabia is actively seeking dedicated and professional Captains and First Officers to bolster its A320 Family fleet. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in maintaining the airline's unwavering commitment to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Recruitment and Assessment Event (South America)

An exclusive recruitment and assessment event for these roles is scheduled to take place in Bogota, Colombia, from September 15th to 19th, 2025. This unique opportunity is open to pilots currently based in South America. Please note that only applicants based in South America and available to attend the event in Bogota during these specific dates will be considered. Minimum Requirements for First Officer (A320 Type Rated)

Prospective First Officers applying for this position must satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• Minimum of 4000 total flying hours.
• Minimum of 800 hours on the A320 Family aircraft.
• Recent flying experience on Airbus Fly-by-Wire (FBW) aircraft within the last 12 months.
• Possession of a valid A320 type rating, with a minimum of 2 months validity remaining at the point of joining.
• A current and unrestricted ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL).
• Currently type-rated on the A320.
• An unrestricted, current Class 1 medical certificate.
• Maximum age of 45 years at the time of application.
• English Language Fluency Level 4 or higher.
