Minimum Requirements

Candidates for A320 Captain positions (both type-rated and non-type-rated) must meet the following criteria:

  • Valid EASA ATPL (A)
  • Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 3,500 hours total flying time
  • Minimum of 1,000 hours on multi-crew jet aircraft
  • Minimum of 500 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) on A320 aircraft (for type-rated applicants)
  • English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
  • No history of accidents or serious incidents
