Position Summary

Aero-Tech Services is actively seeking a highly qualified and experienced Learjet 45 Captain (Pilot-in-Command) to contribute to its dynamic flight operations. This critical role encompasses the safe and efficient execution of FAR Part 135 and Part 91 flight assignments, primarily domestically with occasional international travel. The Captain will uphold the company’s stringent safety standards, professionalism, and dedication to exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned FAR Part 135 and Part 91 flight assignments, encompassing both domestic and international routes.
  • Maintain an exemplary level of technical proficiency and personal readiness, ensuring fitness for duty in line with the trust placed by peers and customers.
  • Accurately record all aspects of flight operations—before, during, and after—in strict adherence to the company’s General Operations Manual (GOM) and Safety Management System (SMS) manuals and procedures.
  • Foster efficient and successful communication with all team members, both within the cockpit and across the broader operational and administrative teams.
  • Operate within a pilot-controlled scheduling system designed to balance industry demands with a satisfactory quality of life. Pilots are encouraged to request personal time off and are generally expected to maintain an annual average of 13-15 duty days per month, with a minimum of 10 hours' notice for duty availability.

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in FAR Part 135 operations or corporate aviation, with a minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in jet aircraft.
  • Possession of a current, valid, and unrestricted U.S. Passport and Driver's License.
  • Hold a current FAA First Class medical certificate.
  • Possess all valid FAA airman certificates, including an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with Lear 45 PIC type rating.
  • Must currently reside within one hour of Lancaster Airport (KLNS) in Lititz, PA, or be willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 200 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in a Learjet 45 is highly preferred. Significant flight time in similar aircraft will also be given strong consideration.
