ASL Airlines Ireland, part of ASL Aviation Holdings, is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified and experienced B737 Captains for future recruitment opportunities. Position Summary:

ASL Airlines Ireland is building a pool of qualified candidates for upcoming B737 Captain vacancies. Successful applicants will be considered for future recruitment waves. The Captain plays a critical leadership role, responsible for the safe and efficient conduct of flights in accordance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supervises and supports the First Officer, ensuring adherence to company standards, conduct, and appearance, fostering effective crew co-operation.
  • Promotes and implements the company Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure the highest levels of accident prevention.
  • Is responsible for securing the safety of the aircraft and all persons and/or property carried within, in full accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensures strict compliance with all operational procedures and checklists as detailed in the Operations Manual.
  • Holds the authority, in emergency situations requiring immediate decision and action, to take any necessary steps deemed appropriate under the circumstances in the interest of safety, in accordance with regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4,000 hours Total Flight Time.
  • A minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on the Boeing 737 type.
  • Possession of a valid EASA Licence.
  • Possession of a European Union (EU) passport.
  • Currently qualified and rated on the B737 with a valid Type Rating and Proficiency Check.
  • Date of last flight on the B737 must be within the last 12 months.
  • Holds ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency or higher.
  • Possession of a valid EASA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • No history of accidents or incidents.
  • Must possess the legal right to live and work in the European Union (EU).
