Position Overview:

ASL Airlines Ireland is inviting applications for future recruitment opportunities for the position of B737 Captain. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply to be contacted regarding potential future openings.

Key Responsibilities:

The B737 Captain will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and supporting the First Officer regarding standards, conduct, and appearance.
  • Promoting an atmosphere conducive to optimal crew cooperation.
  • Championing and implementing the company's Safety Management System (SMS) to prevent accidents.
  • Ensuring the safety of the aircraft and all persons and property carried, in compliance with regulations.
  • Adhering to all operational procedures and checklists as outlined in the Operations Manual.
  • Taking necessary action in emergency situations requiring immediate decision and action, in accordance with regulations and in the interest of safety.

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum 4,000 hours Total Time.
  • Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Boeing 737.
  • Hold a valid EASA Licence.
  • Possess a valid European Union passport.
  • Hold a current and qualified B737 Type Rating and Proficiency Check.
  • Date of Last Flight on B737 must be within the last 12 months.
  • Hold an ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency endorsement or higher.
  • Possess a valid 1st Class Medical Certificate.
  • No history of accidents or incidents.
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in the EU.
