The Role: ATR First Officer
ASL Airlines Ireland invites applications for future recruitment opportunities for the position of ATR First Officer. The First Officer plays a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, supporting the Commander and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and safety.
Key Accountabilities:
- Perform assigned duties concerning flight operations in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, including type-specific procedures, limitations, and performance parameters.
- Contribute to fostering a collaborative and effective working relationship among flight crew members.
- Advise the Commander on any perceived omissions in flight preparation.
- Actively ensure the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining independent verification of geographical position and terrain clearance.
- Provide the Commander with relevant advice, information, and assistance to enhance flight safety and efficiency.
- Seek and obtain necessary information or explanations from the Commander to effectively perform duties.
- Maintain exemplary personal discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the Company.
- Support the Commander in developing and maintaining high standards of professional expertise and morale within the crew.
- Verify the validity of the operational flight plan and ensure the correct Air Traffic Services Flight Plan is filed with the appropriate authority or activated from stored plans.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1000 hours total flying time.
- Minimum of 500 hours experience on ATR 42/72 aircraft.
- Hold a valid ATR Type Rating.
- Possess ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
- Hold a valid EASA Class One Medical Certificate.
- Clear record with no history of accidents or incidents.
- Possess a passport allowing unrestricted international travel.
- Must be legally eligible to live and work within the European Union (EU).
