ATR First Officer - ASL Airlines Ireland
ASL Aviation Holdings, a global aviation services company with a fleet exceeding 160 aircraft, specializing in cargo and passenger airline operations, aircraft leasing, and maintenance, is seeking applications for future ATR First Officer positions with ASL Airlines Ireland. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, the Group comprises five wholly owned airlines: ASL Airlines Ireland, ASL Airlines Belgium, ASL Airlines France, ASL Airlines United Kingdom, and ASL Airlines Australia. Additionally, the Group includes associate and joint venture airlines FlySafair in South Africa, K-Mile Asia in Thailand, and QuikJet in India.
ASL's airlines operate cargo networks for leading express parcel integrators and online retailers. The group, along with its joint-venture and associate airlines, provides scheduled and charter cargo and passenger services under ASL's own airline brands, as well as on behalf of airline ACMI customers and postal services. ASL employs a global team of 3,000 individuals representing 51 nationalities and strives to be the aviation service provider of choice through excellence, experience, and expertise.
Job Responsibilities:
The First Officer will:
- Execute flight-related duties as assigned by the Commander, adhering to Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations, and performance specific to the aircraft type.
- Contribute to a positive atmosphere fostering understanding and cooperation among crew members.
- Advise the Commander of any perceived oversights in flight preparation.
- Ensure the safe navigation of the aircraft by continuously and independently verifying the aircraft's geographical position and safe terrain clearance; provide advice, information, and assistance to the Commander to promote safe and efficient flight operations.
- Request and receive necessary information and explanations from the Commander to effectively perform First Officer duties.
- Maintain a high standard of personal discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the Company.
- Support the Commander in cultivating high professional standards and morale among the crew through active example; ensure the validity of the operational flight plan and, when required, file the Air Traffic Services Flight Plan with the appropriate Authority, ensuring the correct plan is activated if stored plans are utilized.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 1000 hours total flight time.
- Minimum of 500 hours on ATR 42/72 aircraft.
- Valid ATR Type Rating.
- ICAO Level 5 English Proficiency.
- Valid Class One Medical Certificate.
- No history of accidents or incidents.
- Possession of a passport allowing unrestricted worldwide travel.
- Eligibility to live and work within the European Union.
