ASL Airlines, a global aviation services company with airlines based in Europe, South Africa and Asia, is seeking experienced B737 rated First Officers and Captains to join its fleet based at East Midlands Airport in the UK.

ASL Group has confirmed 20 slots with Boeing for 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) aircraft. To date, 11 aircraft have entered service with ASL airlines in Europe and Thailand, with two more in conversion and scheduled for re-delivery to ASL in Q1 2022. The BCF programme will continue throughout 2022.
Despite the global disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021, ASL's airlines continued to operate with an average dispatch reliability of 98.04%. The airlines operated 93,181 flights totaling 177,474 flight hours, carrying 991,141 tonnes of freight and 3,900,000 passengers.

B737 Rated First Officers:
Description:
ASL Airlines UK seeks experienced B737 (300-900) First Officers for a long-term assignment, supporting cargo operations. The role involves assisting the Commander in the safe and efficient conduct of the flight, including assuming command in the event of the Commander's incapacitation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out flight duties in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations and performance relating to the specific aircraft type, as allocated by the Commander.
- Assist in promoting an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation between crew members.
- Advise the Commander if any aspect of the flight preparation has been overlooked.
- Confirm the safe navigation of the aircraft, maintaining a continuous and independent check upon both the geographical positions of the aircraft and its safe terrain clearance, and provide advice, information and assistance to the Commander as may contribute favourably towards the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
- Seek and receive information and/or explanation from the Commander as necessary to fulfill their function.
- Maintain a high personal standard of discipline, conduct and appearance as a representative of the Company.
- Support the Commander, by active example, in the development and maintenance of high standards of professional expertise and morale among the crew.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 500 hours total time, with a minimum of 250 hours on CS-25 aircraft, or 200 hours if an approved course graduate.
- Valid CAA-issued ATPL or CPL and instrument rating (IR).
- Type rating on B737 (300-900).
- ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 minimum.
- Class 1 medical certificate.
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
- Must reside in the UK.
B737 Rated Captains:
Description:
ASL Airlines United Kingdom is seeking an experienced B737 (300-900) Captain for a long-term assignment, supporting cargo operations based at East Midlands Airport.
Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise and support the First Officer in terms of standards, conduct, and appearance, promoting an atmosphere of optimum crew cooperation.
- Promote and implement the company safety management system (SMS) to ensure prevention of accidents.
- Be responsible for securing the safety of the aircraft and of persons and/or property carried therein in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure that all operational procedures and checklists are complied with, in accordance with the Operations Manual.
- Be responsible, in an emergency situation that requires immediate decision and action, to take any action considered necessary under the circumstances in accordance with regulations in the interest of safety.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 4,000 Hours Total Time.
- Minimum 500 hours PIC Boeing 737.
- UK CAA Licence.
- United Kingdom passport.
- Current and Qualified on B737 with valid Type rating and Proficiency Check.
- ICAO Level 4 English Proficiency.
- Valid UK CAA 1st Class Medical Certificate.
- No History of Accidents and Incidents.
- Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
