The Opportunity
The Cabin Crew Manager holds direct responsibility for the leadership and close dialogue with Jettime's Cabin Crew Supervisors, Cabin Chiefs, and Cabin Attendants. This role reports directly to the Vice President Flight Operations and is an integral part of the Flight Operations Management team. The position is office-based at Jettime's Head Quarters in Kastrup.
Key Responsibilities
The successful Cabin Crew Manager will be entrusted with a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Providing inspirational leadership to a skilled, motivated, and international team of cabin crew across Denmark, Finland, and Sweden.
- Developing and maintaining active leadership principles through Cabin Chiefs, ensuring clear direction and high levels of engagement.
- Driving strategic recruitment and retention initiatives to attract and retain top-tier cabin crew who embody Jettimeās core values.
- Developing and maintaining the robust supporting structure of Cabin Crew Management, including directly supervising a team of four Cabin Crew Supervisors and dedicated administrative support.
- Assisting the Vice President Flight Operations in ensuring stringent compliance with all relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and company policies/procedures pertaining to safety, employment, and qualifications within cabin operations.
- Fostering collaborative relationships with trade unions and internal stakeholders, ensuring transparent and proactive dialogue.
- Serving as a key stakeholder in the maintenance and management of the budget for the entire Flight Operations department.
- Continuously improving cabin operations through a combination of curiosity, courageous decision-making, and a sharp business-oriented mindset.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this critical leadership role, candidates must possess the following:
Experience
- Demonstrable experience as cabin crew in operational environments, preferably within an airline similar to Jettime.
- Proven leadership experience, with a specific emphasis on managing diverse teams remotely and across multiple geographical locations.
- A solid understanding of aviation compliance and operational standards.
- Fluency in both written and verbal communication in at least one Scandinavian language.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
