Role Description
-
This is a full-time role as one PIC for the BE-400 Nexant. The ideal candidate will live in the surroundings of Traverse City, MI. As a pilot at 45 North Aviation, you will be responsible for flying and navigating high asset clients. Outstanding customer service is a MUST. You will be expected to work with a team of aviation professionals and comply with strict safety regulations and procedures based in part 91 and part 135 regulations from FAA. Our pilots can enjoy a good routine as they always have time for their family.

Must be willing to:

Retain PIC authority for the safe operation of aircraft, maintaining effective CRM with the SIC.

Ensure the assigned aircraft is airworthy and all proper documents are on board and is properly stocked for the trip. Make decisions to the start, delay, cancellation of flight with regard to safety of flight.

Ensure all passengers are properly briefed for the proposed flight as well as all provisions for their comfort have been made.
Qualifications
-
SIC or PIC BE-400 type rating (highly preferred/not mandatory)

1000 hours of total documented BE-400 flight time (preferred).

Current Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) w/Multi-Engine privileges (mandatory).

3000 Total Time (preferred).
-
1500 Pilot-in-Command (preferred).
-
500 Multi Engine Pilot in Command (preferred).
-
500 Turbine (preferred).
-
250 Jet (preferred).
-
Must pass Company and TSA background checks (mandatory).
-
Valid Passport (preferred).
-
Valid FAA Medical Certificate (mandatory).
-
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills (mandatory).

Experience with aircraft systems and navigation equipment.

Experience with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and Air Traffic Control (ATC) procedures.

Bachelor's degree in aviation, aeronautical engineering, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications that will be a plus include fluency in foreign languages, experience with different aircraft types, and experience with extreme weather conditions.

Pay
-
PIC: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 [Yearly: Salary + bonus pay] (initial range).

The above mentioned amounts are just a north. Pay will depend on experience, evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Higher pay rates (above the maximum initial pay rate, above mentioned) will be available as experience grows and additional qualifications are met.
