Second In Command (SIC) - flyExclusive
flyExclusive, a dynamic and rapidly expanding company, seeks a highly motivated and skilled Second In Command (SIC) to join its team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong commitment to safety, service, and excellence, and will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. This is a fully remote position, though travel is required while on rotation.
The Second In Command reports administratively to the Chief Pilot and to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight operations. He/She assists the PIC in preparing for and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe and efficient flight operations for domestic trip assignments operating under Part 135 regulations, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Adhere to all duties and responsibilities as outlined in company procedures manuals.
- Maintain a current first-class medical certificate as required by policy and notify the company of any medical condition (physical or mental) that may impair the ability to perform flight duties.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and demonstrate the ability to coordinate and lead the crew.
- Greet passengers, assist with seating, and manage luggage storage.
- Conduct passenger briefings and respond to passenger requests and needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.
- Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, and other international flight operations regulations.

- Computer skills necessary to operate word processing, email, web-based, and mobile device applications.
- Passionate attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment.

- ATP certification completed.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Minimum of 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).
- Minimum of 200 hours of Multi-Engine Time.
- Valid Passport.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.
- Appropriate Type Rating.
- This position is classified as a Safety-Sensitive role under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and is subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of Federal Identification.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and other relevant information.
