Check Airman Position

The B-727 Instructor/Check Pilot is selected for this position due in large part to their professional performance and attitude. They are highly respected by their peers and have a professional reputation that reflects positively on the company and the FAA. They are expected to promote professionalism and standardization among the flightcrew members.

Key Duties

  • Conduct Flight Training to develop the necessary skill, knowledge, and demonstrable capacity for flightcrew members.
  • Conduct Line Checks and IOE as directed in a manner that maintains a light standard of proficiency and standardization amount flightcrew members.

Qualifications

  • An FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with a B-727 Type Rating
  • B-727 Check Pilot Letter of Authorization
  • First Class Medical
  • Must be age-eligible to fly under Part 121 (under age 65)
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

Experience

  • 5000 hours total time
  • Turbojet: 1,000 hours under US FAA Part 121 (military equivalency will be considered)
  • Must meet applicable requirements of 14 CFR 121.436
  • 1,000 hours Multi-engine

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the United States of America without a sponsored visa
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Must be able to travel freely within the United States and without restriction to all countries
  • No accidents, incidents, or pilot deviations
  • Must be willing to fly on weekends and holidays
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
