Zachry Group seeks a qualified First Officer / SIC to operate a Citation Sovereign CE-680 for its Aviation Department in San Antonio, Texas. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, ensuring the safety of the crew and passengers, and reporting to the Pilot-in-Command. The position requires a professional, discreet, and safety-conscious individual with strong aeronautical decision-making skills, operating within a Part 91 corporate flight department.
About the Role

Operates within the Zachry Industrial, Inc. Aviation Department to provide safe, reliable, and comfortable air transportation.

Maintains a strong safety culture, actively participating in the Safety Management System (SMS).

Assists the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in making critical flight decisions.

Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and SMS policies.

Delivers a high standard of passenger service and support for executive travel.

Assists passengers with baggage handling and other travel needs.

Maintains all required training, licenses, certifications, and currency.

Collaborates effectively within a small, professional aviation team.

Performs additional duties as directed by the Chief Pilot or Aviation Manager.
Requirements

Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

Valid U.S. Passport with the ability to travel internationally.

Valid driver’s license.

English language proficiency.

Experience operating multi-crew aircraft.

Current or previous qualification in turbojet aircraft.

Clean FAA, DOT, and DOJ records with no violations or deviations within the past seven years.

Ability to reside within one hour of San Antonio International Airport (KSAT) or relocate accordingly.

Willingness to travel frequently (domestic and occasional international).

Availability to work weekends and holidays as operational needs require.
Qualifications

Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with multi-engine privileges (preferred).

Type rating in the Citation Sovereign (CE-680) (preferred).

Minimum three years of corporate aviation experience (preferred).

Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

2,000 hours total flight time (preferred).

1,000 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) (preferred).

100 hours instrument (preferred).

150 hours night (preferred).

500 hours turbine time (preferred).
