Zachry Group in San Antonio, Texas is seeking an experienced
Jet
Pilot / Captain
to accept a full-time position within our Aviation Department. The ideal candidate must exhibit excellent pilot skills, a willingness to work a flexible schedule, strong customer service and communication skills, and must demonstrate integrity and a dedicated work ethic.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Work within the Aviation Department to maintain a culture of safety with efficient procedures that support customer service

Retain final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft and ensures that the proper documents are on the aircraft prior to commencing a flight

Direct the activities of the First Officer

Make decisions as necessary to the start, delay, or cancellation of the flight, or deviation from a planned destination when operating conditions dictate

Plan and execute flights within the regulatory limits of the governing authority and within the performance limits of the aircraft

Assist the passengers by loading and unloading baggage, and provide for passengers’ needs as required

Maintain current required licenses and certificates to comply with company, ICAO, and FAA requirements

Demonstrate knowledge of, and adhere to regulations, including recent flight experience and SOPs
-
Provide an exceptional service experience to passengers and be willing to go above and beyond
-
Must demonstrate the ability to work well with others in a cooperative, small team environment

Performs any other duties activities and projects as assigned by the Chief Pilot/Aviation Manager
Requirements
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

FAA
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) with Multi-Engine privileges
(mandatory)
-
Valid U.S. Passport
-
Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
-
Valid FAA First Class Medical Certificate
-
Flight hours:3000 total, 2000 PIC, 150 instrument, 300 night, 1000 turbine
-
Bachelor
degree or equivalent
-
Current or previous qualification in any turbojet aircraft
-
Experience in multi-crew aircraft
-
Clean FAA/DOT/DOJ records with no violations or deviations in the past 7 years
-
Frequent domestic and some international travel
-
Must live or be willing to relocate to within one hour of KSAT
-
Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays
-
Full and ongoing compliance with and adherence to all vaccination requirements, as may be established by the company from time to time or by or for a particular job site
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
Citation Sovereign (CE-680) type rating (preferred)
-
Three years of corporate aviation experience (preferred)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
May be required to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time and/or perform within confined work spaces. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds to load and unload passenger baggage. Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse and in a trailer or building on construction sites. Noise levels vary and may include bells, whistles, and alarms.
