Yum! Brands is seeking a highly experienced Aviation Senior Captain to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of its corporate aircraft in Irvine, California. About the Role
The Aviation Senior Captain serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC) for Yum! Brands' corporate aircraft, holding ultimate responsibility for all flight activities. This position demands strong technical and cultural leadership, with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and developing the flight department team. The Senior Captain will promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence, ensuring continuous learning and safety-focused behaviors. Primary Responsibilities

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of Yum! aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR 91.

Plan and coordinate all aspects of assigned flight trips.

Guarantee compliance with company policy and regulatory requirements for assigned flights.

Act as a mentor and positive role model for all team members.

Provide feedback on crew member performance and operational enhancements to the Director, Aviation.

Offer leadership to assigned functional teams within the department, including campus and contract pilots.

Manage relationships with outside training vendors, service providers, industry focus groups, and OEMs.
Requirements

Possession of a valid Airline Transport Pilot certificate.

At least two unrestricted Type Ratings; EMB-550 Type Rating is preferred.

Minimum of 5,000 flight hours.

Minimum of 2,000 Jet Pilot in Command (PIC) hours.

Possession of a valid 1st Class Medical Certificate.

No FAA violations, accidents, or incidents.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A four-year college degree or an equivalent of 10 years of industry experience.
