Survey Pilot - Johannesburg, South Africa

Woolpert, a global leader in architecture, engineering, and geospatial services, is seeking experienced and mission-ready Survey Pilots to join its dynamic Operations Team in Johannesburg, South Africa. This role is integral to supporting Woolpert’s geospatial and aerial survey missions through extensive fieldwork across various locations.

Responsibilities

Support Woolpert’s geospatial and aerial survey missions through extensive fieldwork across various locations.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Commercial Pilot’s License (CPL) with a current medical certificate.
Minimum 1,000 hours total flight time.
Current night and instrument rating.
Valid passport.
Flexibility to work away from base for up to 6 weeks at a time.

Preferred Experience & Skills

Type-rated on twin-engine aircraft.
Experience flying turbine aircraft.
Prior survey flight experience is advantageous.
Completion of the following short courses: CRM (Crew Resource Management), DG (Dangerous Goods), SEPT (Safety and Emergency Procedures Training).
SMS (Safety Management Systems) is advantageous.
