The Role: Responsibilities of a Wizz Air Flight Attendant
The successful Flight Attendant is expected to manage both safety-critical procedures and customer experience aspects simultaneously. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining strict compliance with company policies during both on-board and ground duties.
- Managing in-flight sales operations and accurate cash handling.
- Welcoming and assisting passengers throughout the entire flight process.
- Acting consistently in accordance with Wizz Air values: dedication, inclusivity, positivity, and integrity.
- Contributing as an essential part of a rapidly growing family of over 5,000 aviation professionals.
Minimum Candidate Requirements (Essential Qualifications)
Applicants must meet the following mandatory criteria:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must possess a High School Degree (Baccalaureate Degree).
- Demonstrates fluency (both written and spoken) in the English language.
- Achieves an arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes.
- Holds a valid passport without limitations (minimum 6 months validity) and possesses the legal right to work in the country of the chosen base.
- Must be proficient in swimming.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate within a 60-minute commute of the chosen base, prepared to make this journey according to the work schedule.
- Must ensure no tattoos or piercings are visible when wearing the company uniform.
- Must be an enthusiastic person who enjoys working extensively with the public.
- Please Note: Candidates wearing glasses or contact lenses with a prescription exceeding +4 or falling below -4 are unlikely to pass the mandatory aviation medical examination.
