Purpose of the Position
Reporting directly to the Cabin Crew Planning Manager, the Cabin Crew Planner is primarily responsible for the efficient, safe, and compliant management of crew rosters. This pivotal role also involves actively driving system and process improvements within the crew planning department to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive cabin crew rosters to ensure the seamless operation of the company's commercial flight program.
- Optimize crew rosters to achieve the highest possible crew productivity while strictly adhering to all safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Oversee and manage available crew resources to guarantee robust program coverage, enhance operational resilience, and meet targeted crew utilization levels.
- Collaborate effectively with various cross-functional departments, including Cabin and Flight Operations, Training, Human Resources, and Recruitment, to ensure appropriate staffing and qualification levels are maintained.
- Assume critical responsibility for managing roster-related fatigue and proactively promoting the well-being of over 900 crew members.
- Continuously track, monitor, and modify both cockpit and cabin crew rosters in response to operational changes and requirements.
- Take the lead in implementing and driving process and system improvements, including active oversight of the HP bidding and Roster Preferences modules.
- Liaise and cooperate with Training Department representatives and Crew Training Planning regarding rostering principles and specific training requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant industry regulations, including duty and flight time limitations (FTL) and Fatigue Risk Management protocols.

Requirements
- A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional work experience.
- At least 1 year of experience specifically within the aviation or logistics sector is considered a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with AIMS Crew and Ops systems is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Working Rules Limitations and Rest Requirements (Flight Time Limitations) is highly beneficial.
- A completed university or college degree.
- Fluent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Possession of a growth mindset and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to live and work at the Wizz Air Headquarters in Budapest, Hungary.
