Key Responsibilities of a Wizz Air Flight Attendant

As a Cabin Crew member with Wizz Air, the successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, ensuring both passenger safety and satisfaction:

  • Prioritizing and upholding both stringent safety standards and exceptional customer service throughout all phases of flight.
  • Executing all on-board and ground duties in strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and aviation regulations.
  • Efficiently managing in-flight sales transactions and cash handling procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the Cabin Crew position at Wizz Air, applicants must meet the following stringent criteria:

  • Possession of a valid passport without limitations, with a minimum validity period of 6 months from the date of application.
  • Demonstrated legal right to work in Bulgaria without requiring employer sponsorship. This specifically includes holding an EU Passport or an EU Residence Card. (Please note: Other residence permits, such as Work or Student visas, are not accepted for this role.)
  • Minimum age of 18 years at the time of application.
  • An arm reach of 210 cm (approximately 82.7 inches) while standing on tiptoes.
  • Completion of a High School degree or an equivalent academic qualification.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory for effective communication.
  • Proficiency in swimming is a required safety capability.
  • Willingness to reside or relocate within a 60-minute commute of the chosen base (Sofia), with the readiness to undertake this journey according to work schedules.
  • Absence of visible tattoos and/or piercings when wearing the standard company uniform.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a genuine enjoyment of working with diverse people.
  • Candidates who wear glasses or contact lenses should be aware that if their prescription exceeds +4 or falls below -4, they may be unlikely to pass the mandatory aviation medical examination.
