Wizz Air Cabin Crew Recruitment: Open Day in London Luton
Wizz Air invites applications for the position of Flight Attendant/Cabin Crew. An open recruitment day will be held on December 14th, 2024, commencing at 9:00 a.m. at Percival House, London Luton Airport. Pre-registration is required.
Open Day Activities:
The recruitment day will consist of a short personal introduction, situational role-play exercises, team activities, a company presentation, and an individual interview. Candidates should plan to be available until late afternoon.
Preparation for the Open Day:
Attendees should bring an up-to-date English CV, a colour ID photograph, and a copy of their passport. Punctual arrival is essential.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming onboard atmosphere, managing in-flight sales and cash handling, and adhering to the highest safety and ethical standards. Duties include welcoming passengers, assisting them throughout the flight, and ensuring the safety of the aircraft and all passengers. Maintaining a professional appearance and arriving for shifts well-rested and appropriately groomed is crucial.
Essential Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Valid passport with at least six months remaining validity.
- Ability to swim.
- Legal right to live and work in the UK (British passport/Visa/Pre-Settlement/Settlement Status).
- Residence within a 90-minute radius of London Luton Airport, with the willingness to commute according to the work schedule.
- No visible tattoos or piercings while wearing the uniform.
- Enthusiasm for working with people.
- Ability to obtain a Schengen Visa (if applicable).
- Prescription for glasses or contact lenses should not exceed +4 or be less than -4 (due to mandatory medical examination requirements).
